Happy Paws Inn & Resort in Port Townsend aspires to be the home-away-from-home for your beloved furry non-human animal family members.
I offer a wide range of services in a personalized kennel- and fear-free boutique-style environment, from personalized boarding for your special needs dogs, to day care and boarding for your social dog, overnight stays in your home, dog walks and visits. I accept all dogs, all ages, all sizes, all physical abilities, except for dogs with aggression to humans and severe separation anxiety. Drop off and pick up times are flexible for boarding and day care. Your dog will be in a clean, safe and quiet place with lots of space to play and sleep, inside and outside the house. I never have more than 5 dogs at the same time and I am open to caring for other animals.
Boarding at Happy Paws
- $65 / 24 hours for social dogs, includes one walk. Additional walks can be booked separately.
- $155 / 24 hours for individual and exclusive care of your special dog, includes walks, exercise as needed and appropriate, medication and any special care needed
- $20 surcharge for puppies younger than 18 months
- Second dog of same family $35, third dog of same family $25
Day Care at Happy Paws
- $45 for full day/up to 9 hours, $30 for half day/less than 4 hours
- Does not include walks. See dog walks for pricing.
- Additional dogs from same family $25 for full day, $15 for half day
- Only for social dogs, test/introduction to other dogs required.
Overnight Sitting at your home
- $65 / day, includes up to 2 dogs and/or 3 cats, feeding, cleaning, medication administration, letting them out, playing
- 75 cents for mileage
- Minimum 2 nights, only full days will be booked.
- Does not include walks. See dog walks for pricing.
Dog Walks
- For clients of boarding, day care and overnights: $10/20 min
- For others: $30/30 min, $50/60 min
- Additional dogs: $10/dog/walk
- 75 cents for mileage
Visits
- Cats, dogs, and other critters: $30/30 minutes, $50/60 min, includes feeding, cleaning, medication administration, letting them out, playing

Sliding Scale Fees
As much as I am able, I will try to offer sliding scale fees to those in need, and will do my best to not turn anyone away.
