In this newsletter I will share my new cancellation and payment policies in the blue box below, some great resources for anxious dogs and an article on the positive impact our pets can have on our brain health. I will also reiterate how I work and what I offer, in case you don’t know.

How I work
My standard fee is $65/day for dogs that can be in the company of another dog and don’t have special needs. I am happy to work with you if you are experiencing financial hardship. I don’t offer discounts for more than one dog, but I offer volume discounts. I don’t take more than 2 dogs and only when I am 100% sure they are safe together. If I have more than one, I don’t leave them alone if they are not from the same family. I don’t leave dogs outside alone with the door closed or when I leave the house. I walk dogs 3 times a day, take them on excursions, have a safely fenced yard, let them sleep in bed with me, or wherever they want, and spend most of the day with them. I can also take dogs by the hour. With gas prices so high, I charge more when I have to drive. Safety and fun are my priorities. I don’t discipline your dog, I want them to have a good time. I won’t teach them tricks or train them. That’s why I can’t accept all dogs.

If you haven’t worked with me yet, I offer a complementary meet and greet to see if we are a good fit and ask you to complete a waiver and service agreement. I often do a trial sit for half day or a night so we can get to know each other. Once we agree on the dates, I will send you a booking confirmation with all the info you need, including fees and what to bring.

It’s been a super fun and busy spring and summer. Due to some cancellations I do have some openings for September and October and am taking reservations already for next year. I returned rejuvenated from 3 weeks of vacation with family visiting from Germany and am ready to play, walk, and care for your cats and dogs.
