Spring 2025 Newsletter

Boston Terrier on the beach

Hello animal lover,

Spring is in the air and it’s Happy Paws 3rd Anniversary! I registered for a business license in February 2022 and have never looked back. I started on Rover after my dog passed away in 2021. It was Covid and I had a full-time remote job on the side. Then I launched my website and said goodbye to Rover. Until 2023 I had a part-time job that was my main income. In 2024, I made the big decision to dedicate myself fully to Happy Paws and make this my main income and focus. Many pet sitters are hobby sitters doing this on the side, have a partner helping them financially, or benefit from an affordable living situation. Not me. I am so grateful to consider myself one of the successful professional local pet sitting businesses. Thank you for helping me make my dream come true.

In this newsletter you find information about my updated prices, 2025 closures, three portraits of women sharing about their passion, memories of three wonderful dogs that passed away, more client spotlights, and resources on how to recognize pain in your dog and cat, which can be a life saver! I really recommend all pet owners take a Pet CPR and First Aid course. I have a great referral for that if you are interested. My priorities are still safety and fun, just like 3 years ago.

With immense gratitude, wishing you well,
Claudia
