Hello animal lover,

Lots of news in this newsletter, and some fun photos, videos and helpful resources: a webinar and cheatsheet on how to help your reactive dog, local pet CPR and first aid course offerings, my new security camera, honoring Pluto who recently passed, celebrating the recognition I got, and other big news.

I decided that in 2024 I will focus all my energy and attention on Happy Paws. I will continue to do a bit of HR consulting work as needed, but in the new year there will be no more afternoons away from my beloved house guests. I plan to start offering day care, house sits, visits and walks without compromising the essence of what I do best: providing fun, safety, and individualized loving care.

To celebrate this transition, I will spend the first two months of the year donating my time to volunteer at an animal rescue on the tiny island of Mayreau in the Caribbean. Mayreau Animal Welfare is a volunteer-driven organization looking after the welfare of the island animals that are often tied up 24/7, don’t have enough water to drink or food to eat. It’s going to be important work.

So, Happy Paws Inn & Resort will be closed in January and February. Unless there will be cancellations, I am fully booked now until the end of the year, but open for meet and greets with prospective clients for 2024. Book now for 2024, so you can take advantage of my current fees. In the spring, I will readjust my fee structure as new services will be added. Bookings made before the end of the year will honor the current fees even for stays late in 2024.
